F. ティモシー・リチャーズ（54歳）はエレクトロニクス・グループの副社長であり、当社の最高意思決定機関である Delphi 戦略委員会のメンバーでもあります。
Richards began his automotive career with General Motors Corporation, in 1972, as a cooperative education student at the former Packard Electric Division in Warren, Ohio. While at Packard, Richards was a product engineer and a supervisor of manufacturing/quality control.
1982年、デトロイトの GM 本社財務部門に移り、5年間にわたり数々の職務で企業幹部指導者をサポート。 同職務の一環として GM のアジア・パシフィック地域自動車部品グループ指導者チームの補佐を担当。
その後、Delphi Harrison Thermal Systems に配属され、5年以上に渡り、製造総監督、マーケティング・マネジャーやアシスタント・コントローラー等数々の任務を遂行。 1993年、General Motors の北米生産部門の財務ディレクターに、後に GM の最高経営責任者兼社長のエグゼクティブアシスタントに任命される。
1995 年、営業およびマーケティングディレクターとしてDelphi Thermal に戻り、 In 1997, he was named the division's European managing director, later moving to global business line executive for Climate Control and Powertrain Cooling Systems. 2002年5月 1日、Delphi Energy & Chassis Systems のビジネスラインエグせくティブ・ディレクターに就任。 He was appointed vice president, sales & marketing effective January 1, 2004, and was named to his current position on July 1, 2006.
A native of Warren, Ohio Richards has earned a bachelor of electrical engineering degree from Kettering University and he was a GM Fellow at the University of Michigan where he earned an MBA degree.
